ROY COOPER, Governor of the State of North Carolina, proclaimed May 20 – 28, 2024, as “PERIOD POVERTY AWARENESS WEEK” in North Carolina, and commended its observance to all citizens.
Many women and girls face significant challenges in accessing basic hygiene products, leading to missed educational opportunities, workplace absences, and compromised health. At Incredible Ladies United, we believe no one should have to choose between managing their menstrual health and participating fully in life’s opportunities.

Entry: As with previous years, we kindly ask you to bring feminine products—pads, pantyliners, tampons, reusable menstrual cups, period panties or black leggings/yoga pants. Your generous contributions will help support those in our community who are in need. Every item you bring makes a difference, so feel free to bring as much as you feel inspired to contribute. All donations will benefit the Diaper Bank of NC’s Period Poverty Coalition Dignity Program.
