I.L.U. fosters great opportunities for young ladies to serve the community by volunteering to distribute food that is provided by the North Carolina Food Bank. Our young ladies are able to earn community service hours, meet community leadership and sharpen their skills in public relations while having fun!

Love of Self - We believe that love begins by treating yourself well, making good choices that directly impact you.
Love of Others- We also believe that caring for others is an extension of good character and humanity.
Community Service- Serving the community is one way of giving back to a world that gives us so much. Giving back not only feels great, it yields opportunities for others to have needs met.
International Travel- Traveling the world has many benefits. It allows individuals to see life through a new lens. Experiencing new cultures can be stimulating to the mind as it takes on new learning curves. We believe that our young ladies will want more out of life, when they know there is more to see, do and obtain

ROY COOPER, Governor of the State of North Carolina, proclaimed May 20 – 28, 2024, as “PERIOD POVERTY AWARENESS WEEK” in North Carolina, and commended its observance to all citizens.
Many women and girls face significant challenges in accessing basic hygiene products, leading to missed educational opportunities, workplace absences, and compromised health. At Incredible Ladies United, we believe no one should have to choose between managing their menstrual health and participating fully in life’s opportunities.

Entry: As with previous years, we kindly ask you to bring feminine products—pads, pantyliners, tampons, reusable menstrual cups, period panties or black leggings/yoga pants. Your generous contributions will help support those in our community who are in need. Every item you bring makes a difference, so feel free to bring as much as you feel inspired to contribute. All donations will benefit the Diaper Bank of NC’s Period Poverty Coalition Dignity Program.
